Jim Iyke Hints On a New Deal With An American Rapper

In what looked like a combination made in heaven, ace Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has hinted that something big is about happen as he shared photos from EFFEN Vodka event at a club in Atlanta.
The lively groove was headlined by the brand ambassador of the Vodka drink, 50 Cent yesterday, September 20.

Going by Jim’s entrepreneurial skills, possibility of becoming African ambassador of the EFFEN vodka seems eminent as he shares series of photos with the American rapper holding the vodka drink with captions.

In another photo of the duo, Jim wrote , “Meeting with 50 cent to discuss the next phase. Urbane hustlers.” And then he added a slew of hashtags, #Moves #EffenVodka #Booting #Atlantabizlife #CyberGrind #Gladysboi #SoGrateful

Beyonce Shows Off Her Hot Bikini Body

After performing a 17 minute set at this year’s MTV Video Music Award, Queen Bey has decided to ‘flaunt it for the camera’.
The Houston, Texas-born singer/ songwriter took some risque pics for Carine Roitfeld’s first Beyonce cover for the CR Fashion Book.
The mother of one showed it off for the cameras, proving that despite having Blue Ivy, she still has a hot bod.
This is Beyonce’s first photo cover in a long time since rumours about her marriage surfaced.

Queen Bey Shows It Off Beyonce had this week done a 17 minute set at the MTV Video Music Awards where she performed her whole album and was later joined by her husband Jay and Blue Ivy when they presented her with an award.
The mega star artiste has sold multi-platinum albums and is well-known on all the continents.

I didn't sweep London streets to survive - Sola Sobowale Said Angrily to Rumor Mongers

Few months ago, it was widely reported that Veteran Nollywood actress Sola Sobowale, was so broke that she had to stoop so low to turn a local street sweeper in London to earn a living.

Reacting to the speculations, Sola in a recent interview maintained that it was lies and cooked up stories because she never swept anywhere else apart from her apartment.

"I didn't sweep London streets to survive. I never swept except it is my house. If people peddle rumours that I sweep the streets of London to survive, so be it. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. The bottom line is that I believe in dignity of labour but I have never swept in any land to earn money in my life," she told City People.

However, the beautiful actress who's also known as 'Toyin Tomatoes' also said, its nobody's business the kind of work she does to survive, after all there's dignity in labour.

“I can do anything for money so far it is not stealing. As I said, I can do anything to make money apart from being a prostitute, a cocaine pusher, or 419. Anything that will give me good money is what I can do because “owo igbe kin run (money gotten from shit carrying does not smell shit). If at the end of the day I’m spending the money, does it smell of shit or faeces?” she said.

The light skinned actress added that her books will soon be out, until then will people get to know what she was really doing in England.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has enabled the portal for the printing of the 2015 JAMB Admission Letter.

All candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination conducted by JAMB, and whose schools have announced the release of Admission Lists for 2015/2016 academic session can now Check their admission status for free and then come back here to proceed to request for their JAMB Admission Letter.

The JAMB Admission Letter is quite important for the following reasons.

1. You need to have rest of mind that your admission is secured and have evidence to back it up.
2.You need to successfully complete your admission registration and clearance process.
3. You need to be approved and deployed for the National Youth Service Programme (NYSC).
4. You need to successfully apply for a scholarship. Most Companies and Organizations will request for it.
5. You need to further your education locally or abroad.

The importance of this document can not be over emphasized. It is required for every fresh and old student. Myschool now processes JAMB admission letters from 2004 - 2015/2016 Admissions.

The Reason I Broke Up With D-Banj - Don Jazzy

Mavin records boss, Don Jazzy who is known for his Midas touch on every song he produces, has come out to clear the air on his breakup with his former business partner, D’Banj.

Speaking with City People, Don Jazzy disclosed that his breakup with Koko Master was created by fans of Mo’ Hits label and the media.

Don Jazzy said “I keep saying that, the problem you guys think we had been caused by both the press and our fans, because we were alright. D’Banj is working, I am working, and we can meet up. We can gist, laugh and whatever”.
When asked if he had something to loose, the music maker disclosed that he is only interested in discovering new talents.
He added that “Yes and no, I am not losing anything. I have many artistes at hand right now.
I’m a producer; my work is to look for artistes. If I want to sign more, I will. There is no doubt that he is a huge and successful entertainer, but then there is no glory in actually working with huge people. I like bringing up people”.

Meanwhile Don Jazzy some weeks back said he needs to marry this year, 2015. Who knows, his not staying at home might also be affecting his single status as no woman would want to be married and be living in a music studio.

Lagos Mob Sets Alleged Car Thief Ablaze

A suspected thief who was caught stealing a brain box from a car this morning, August 19, was reportedly beaten and set ablaze by an angry mob in Apapa area of Lagos state.

The unfortunate incident took place at Isikalu street junction, Olodi-Apapa, when the young man was allegedly caught breaking into a car.

According to Pulse, the suspect was nabbed around 4am by some residents. After beating him thoroughly, he was tied down till about 6am until other residents woke up and met him.

The angry mob immediately set him on fire, ignoring suggestions that he should be handed over to the police, with some believing that he would be set free by the law enforcement officers.

An eyewitness at the scene said the youth brought used tyres, petrol and a match box with which they used to burn the suspect, causing traffic jam in the area.

“People in the area are not happy about how the brain boxes of their vehicles usually develop wings overnight. Many vehicles in the area have been vandalised and many of the parts removed,” he said.

Meanwhile, a 27-year-old robbery suspect identified as Ahmed Rewanu has alleged that the police arrested him with the aid of charm because he was caught by surprise, with no option for escape.
